Procurement Process for Officer/Commisionship

Initial Physical Requirements
a. Physical Appearance
1. Height requirements - 5'4"
2. Physical and Mentally qualified
3. Single with no dependents
b. Initial Documents for Admission
1. Birth Certificate
At least 21 years old and not more than 26 years old upon
entry to the PCG service.
2. Diploma / Holder of baccalaureate degree requiring four (4)
or more years of study.
3. Transcript of Records (TOR)

Priority Course as are follows:

1. Maritime related courses
a. BS Marine Transportation (licensed)
b. BS Marine Engineering (licensed)
2. IT related course
a. BS Computer Engineering
b. BS Electrical and Communication Engineering
c. BS Criminology (licensed)
3. Lawyers/Doctors/Dentist/Vet Med/Chemist

After passing the PCG Battery exam as well as the deliberation,
applicants will be issued Medical Directives by CG-1.

I. NP Test – to be conducted by PCG Medical
II. Laboratory Exam
III. PCG Dental
After passing the Medical and Dental, applicants will comply with the
following requirements.
Clearances must be acquired not more than 6 months.

1. NBI Clearance
2. PNP Clearance
3. Local PNP Clearance
4. Mayor's Clearance
5. Municipal Trial Court Clearance
6. Regional Trial Court Clearance
7. Barangay Clearance
8. School Diploma
9. Transcript of Records (TOR)
10. Certificate of no Marriage (CENOMAR) available at NSO.
11. Marriage Contract of Parents
12. Whole body picture
13. Accomplish PHS
