Did you know that approximately 3,500 of the 22,156 Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) officers and personnel are WOMEN? That’s almost 16% of the entire PCG workforce!

Filipina Coast Guardians could testify how the PCG, despite being a male-dominated organization, puts a premium on providing EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES for learning and career development to its people, regardless of gender.

Through its Gender and Development (GAD) unit, the PCG also ensures its officers and personnel are PROTECTED from all forms of GENDER-BASED DISCRIMINATION OR VIOLENCE.

As the PCG pursues modernization to deliver better public service, the Command also guarantees to sustain a CONDUCIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT that upholds GENDER EQUALITY and RESPECT FOR ALL.
