Notice is hereby given to all mariners and other parties concerned that:
1. Reference: Letter from Mr. Wilson B. Villanueva, Director-Commercial Manager, EGS Asia Inc. dated March 01, 2017.
2. EGS Asia Inc., a Hongkong based company with its Philippine associate company, EGS Asia Inc. has been contracted by Huawei Networks a contractor of National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) to conduct the Route Marine Survey for the existing HVDC Submarine Power Cables between Sta. Magdalena, Sorsogon and Cabacungan, Allen, Northern Samar (San Bernardino Strait) to check position of the existing cable as it might shifted over the years.The survey will be undertaken between 20 March 2017 and 20 May 2017 using a survey vessels MV “NORTHERN ICE” for offshore survey and a local suitable survey banca for inshore survey on areas bounded by the following coordinates:

3. In this connection, all ships/watercrafts transiting the vicinity of the above-mentioned areas are advised to take note of the information and take necessary precautionary measures.
