Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, Admiral George V Ursabia Jr led the donning and oath-taking ceremonies of Brigadier General (BGEN) Peter Suchianco  from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Reserve Command and spouse, Attorney Maria Farah Zorayta Nicolas – Suchianco to the PCG Auxiliary (PCGA) Executive Squadron at the PCG National Headquarters, Port Area, Manila today, 27 May 2021.

BGEN Peter Suchianco took oath as "Auxiliary Rear Admiral", while Atty. Nicolas  – Suchianco took oath as "Auxiliary Commodore".

During the ceremony, Admiral Ursabia expressed his gratitude to the newest members of the PCGA Executive Squadron whom he considered as INSTRUMENTS OF GOD in bringing about positive change in the PCG towards the delivery of humble and compassionate public service.

"Our PCGA members are not mere volunteers, but missionaries. They are missionaries in a sense that being part of the PCG is a calling. They are called by God Almighty to help and serve others, especially those who are in need," Admiral Ursabia expressed.
