Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, CG Admiral Artemio M Abu, formally opened the ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐„๐ฑ๐ž๐ซ๐œ๐ข๐ฌ๐ž (๐Œ๐€๐‘๐๐Ž๐‹๐„๐—) ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ in Manila yesterday, 26 October 2022.

Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah Pangandaman graced the opening ceremony.

The ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐Œ๐€๐‘๐๐Ž๐‹๐„๐— ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ showcases the PCG's capability in oil spill response, firefighting, search and rescue, and response to various incidents occurring in the countryโ€™s maritime jurisdiction.

The activity will test, evaluate, and enhance the effectiveness of the PCG's working relationship with other government agencies and maritime stakeholders.

CG Commodore Hostillo Cornelio of the PCG District NCR-Central Luzon and Police Lieutenant Coronel Randy Naval of the Philippine National Police-Maritime Group (PNP-MG) Third Special Operations Unit signed the official declaration of the exercise's formal opening.

PCG's Marine Environmental Protection Commander, CG Rear Admiral Robert Patrimonio, and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Manila Fire District Director, Senior Superintendent Crosbee Gumowang, also joined the ceremony.
