The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is one with the nation in commemorating National Volunteer Month (NVM)βan avenue to uphold volunteerism for developmentβthis coming December 2022.
The celebration aims to build public awareness and recognition of volunteerism, create an environment for voluntary action, and recognize volunteers as partners in development across the archipelago.
This also serves as an act of honor for our modern-day heroes and Filipino volunteers. They continue to provide service to our fellow citizens with their relentless commitment and dedicationβnotwithstanding the potential risks and perils that may come at hand.
With this, the country takes utmost pride in its affluent history of volunteerism, known as "Bayanihan."
