The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has welcomed 643 new members into the Coast Guard service at the PCG Regional Training Center in Zamboanga City on 18 November 2022.

The Coast Guard Non-Officer's Course (CGNOC) Class 92-2022 "Layag-Tala" hurdled six-month-long mental and physical training to develop the right attitude, commitment, character, discipline, and patriotism.

PCG Commandant, CG Admiral Artemio M Abu, graced the graduation ceremony. He congratulated the newest Coast Guard non-officers and urged them to live up to the virtues of discipline, excellence, and unity.

"Always strive to give the best in everything you do as Coast Guardians. Always aim for excellence in all your endeavors," CG Admiral Abu said.
