Good news sa mga Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) applicants sa Ilocos Norte!

Naging matagumpay ang pirmahan ng DEED OF USUFRUCT sa pagitan ng PCG District Northwestern Luzon at Laoag City Government kahapon, ika-20 ng Disyembre 2022.

Sa naturang seremoniya, ipinahayag ni Laoag City Mayor Michael Marcos Keon ang kanyang pagsuporta sa konstruksyon ng PCG Regional Training Center sa 2.5 ektaryang lupa sa Barangay 32-B Lapaz.

Ayon kay PCG District Northwestern Luzon Commander, CG Commodore Philipps Soria, pagtatayuan din ito ng Coast Guard Sub-Station Laoag.

“This is to produce more competitive Coast Guardians who will uphold PCG functions in Ilocos Norte, particularly in Laoag City,” ayon kay CG Commodore Soria.

“Further, the PCG's presence in the area will play a vital role in promoting maritime safety and maritime security, and boosting the tourism industry,” dagdag pa niya.
