The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) District Bicol Commander, CG Commodore Genito Basilio, presided over the inauguration of the three-storey Coast Guard Station Catanduanes building in Virac on 12 March 2023.

Catanduanes Vice Governor Peter Cua graced the event.

CG Commodore Basilio sincerely thanked the provincial government for supporting the construction of the said infrastructure project.

“Let us return to the province of Catanduanes what is due to them, show them what the Philippine Coast Guard really is, and make them proud,” CG Commodore Basilio expressed.
