The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has identified six possible locations of cadavers across Sectors 1 to 3 in Barangay Masara, Maco, Davao de Oro, yesterday, 15 February 2024.

According to the Coast Guard District Southeastern Mindanao (CGDSEM), the PCG search and rescue (SAR) team, composed of dedicated handlers and highly trained dogs, has been tirelessly scouring the affected areas, utilizing their canine partners' keen senses to navigate challenging terrain.

The CGDSEM said these findings represent a crucial step in the recovery process, offering closure to grieving families and ensuring dignified handling of the situation.
