The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) will partner on improving Coast Guard capabilities.

This occurred during DBP Chairman Philip Lo’s visit at the National Headquarters, Port Area, Manila, yesterday, 20 May 2024.

During the meeting, PCG Commandant, CG Admiral Ronnie Gil L Gavan, and DBP Chairman Lo discussed the utilization of DBP’s financing program to enhance the PCG's capabilities in upholding maritime security, maritime safety, maritime law enforcement, maritime search and rescue, and marine environmental protection in the Philippine waters.
