The Philippine Coast Guard District North Eastern Luzon (CGDNELZN) took significant steps to strengthen its relationship with the United States Marine Corps today July 2, 2024.

In collaboration with the National Maritime Center (NMC), CGDNELZN hosted a delegation from the US Marine Corps, led by LTCOL Wesly Tucker. This visit to the National Maritime Center aimed to enhance the partnership between the two organizations, with a focus on training and technological advancements.

The visit was led by CG Capt Librilla Jr., Commander of the Coast Guard District North Eastern Luzon, and accompanied by CG Cdr Severino B. Destura Jr., Chief of the Information Operation Group at the National Maritime Center, and CG Cdr Paolo Carlo A. Tiongson, Director of the Regional Command Center for Central Luzon and Palawan.

Notable attendees from the US Marine Corps included Major Stephen Stone and Major Peter Corcoran. The presence of these high-ranking officers emphasizes the importance of the visit and the commitment of both parties to strengthening their collaborative efforts.
