The Coast Guard District Bicol (CGDBCL) activates its Deployable Response Groups (DRGs) in preparation for the anticipated impact of Typhoon "Pepitoβ in the Bicol region today, 14 November 2024.
The CGDBCL said this proactive measure strengthens community safety by ensuring response teams are ready to respond quickly.
"Early resource mobilization helps reduce damage, provide timely assistance, and support those affected," the District said.
"Everyone is advised to stay informed and follow safety guidelines," it added.
