The Coast Guard District Southern Tagalog (CGDSTL) joined Operation Blessing with local volunteers in a five-day medical and dental mission across Romblon Province from 24 to 28 July 2025.

This humanitarian operation, which reached five barangays, including Barangay Pagsangahan and Brgy. Linao in Calatrava, Brgy. Tanagan in San Andres, and Brgy. Concepcion Sur in Sta. Maria that served a total of 1,897 residents. It underscores the Philippine Coast Guard’s adherence to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s vision of providing continuous service to the Filipino people, both on land and at sea.

From free check-ups, laboratory tests, and tooth extractions to the distribution of eyeglasses, medicines, and wheelchairs, this mission delivered not just healthcare, but real help where it mattered most.
