The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) held a Change of Command and Testimonial Parade in honor of the outgoing Commander of Coast Guard District Central Visayas (CGDCV), Commodore Romeo Pulido PCG at Bonifacio Naval Station, Taguig City, yesterday, August 05, 2025.

This undertaking, which was presided over by PCG Deputy Commandant for Operations, Vice Admiral Edgar Ybañez PCG, amplifies the endeavor of PCG in acknowledging the significant contributions of PCG Officers who served with discipline and commitment for country and family in accordance with President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr.’s guidance.

Commodore Pulido PCG formally relinquished his post to Rear Admiral Agapito Bibat PCG, the incoming CGDCV Commander.

Commodore Pulido PCG distinguished career includes key sea and shore assignments in both the Philippine Navy (PN) and Philippine Coast Guard (PCG). He served aboard various naval and coast guard vessels in leadership roles and held major staff positions in operations, civil-military affairs, training, and international peacekeeping missions.

His service was recognized with numerous awards, reflecting his dedication and commitment to duty.
