Personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Station in Capiz, together with PCG Sub-Station in Olotayan, rescued 127 passengers and 10 crew members of a distressed motorbanca approximately five (5) nautical miles northwest off Olotayan Island, Roxas City on 06 January 2020.

Motorbanca “Aquamaster” departed from Culasi Port, Roxas City going to Mandaon, Masbate when it encountered steering casualty – a situation wherein the motorbanca’s rudder lost control.

The rescued individuals, who were all in good condition, were safely brought at the Culasi Port.
