PCG. Coast Guard personnel in Rosario, Cavite recovered a lifeless body of a teenager after drowning in the river of Barangay Aguado, Southville Phase 5, Trece Martires, Cavite City last Sunday, October 22.

Report received by Coast Guard Station (CGS) Cavite from a certain Mr. Marlon Mercado of Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) at 4:30PM of the same date disclosed that a drowning incident has transpired at the said vicinity. 

Immediately, personnel of CGS Cavite coordinated with Coast Guard Sub-station (CGSS) Rosario and Coast Guard Special Operations Force (CGSOF) for the conduct of search and rescue (SAR) operations. The SAR team successfully recovered a lifeless body of a male teenager. The cadaver was positively identified by Mr Christopher Banjano as the 17-year old victim, Alexander Orbano. 

Mr Enrique Orbano, father of the victim, revealed that his son jumped from the top rocky portion of the river with approximately 30-feet high but failed to re-surface. 

The body of the victim was properly turned-over to his family for proper disposition.
