PCG: Joint personnel from Coast Guard Station Northern Quezon, Coast Guard Station Real, Municipal Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Council (M-FARMC), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and Municipal Agricultural Office (MAGO) of Real, Quezon confiscated more or less 360 kilos of fish (with approx. P36,000.00 market value) during the conduct of a joint anti-illegal fishing operation at vicinity waters of Brgy. Ungos and Brgy. Pob 61, Real, Quezon yesterday, November 14.

The team boarded and inspected Mbca “Kevin 2”, a passenger/cargo motorbanca after she was found abandoned at the shoreline of Pob. 61 in Quezon. 

A fish examiner from BFAR Real Quezon identified and certified that the fish found was caught by means of blast fishing.

Said confiscated fish was later brought to M-FARMC Office for proper disposition.
