PCG: A 38-year old resident of Villa Libertad in El Nido, Palawan was arrested on Christmas day by the joint elements of the Philippine Coast Guard and Philippine National Police for possession and trade of illegal drugs.

The suspect was identified as Jesus Gabitan, aka Dradley. 

The joint buy-bust operations resulted to the confiscation of 18 sachets of shabu, a black Honda motorcycle, lighter, cellphone, wallet, memory card, Php 15,625 and the 500 pesos marked money.

The PNP made an inventory on the recovered items in the presence of Kagawad Edelon Garcia of Barangay Masagana, Melba Pagayona of Radio Tandika-El Nido Media and Coast Guard Station (CGS) El Nido personnel.

Gabitan was placed under the custody El Nido Municipal Police Station while the confiscated items were sent for laboratory examination.
