PCG: The PCG Dragon Boat Team, under the Office of the Coast Guard Special Service, welcomes 2015 with back-to-back Gold medals.

Last 14 December 2014, the PCGDBT won the Gold medal in the Final Leg of Philippine Dragon Boat Federation (PDBF) Quarterly Regatta held in Manila Bay. 

The Philippine Navy Team came in second.

Just ten days into the new year, the PCGDBT again reigned supreme and became the champions of the sun soaked Ilocos Sur Beach Festival 2015 Dragon Boat Race. It was held in Bgy. Poro, Ilocos Sur last 10 January 2015. 

In Second Place is the Philippine Navy Team, followed by the Boracay Sea Dragons in third.

The PCGDBT was hard at work and training straight through the holiday break. Its members are all organic PCG personnel from different units and offices of the Command, and they are looking forward to a calendar full of prestigious races to defend their championship title this year.
