PCG: Search operations by the Philippine Coast Guard continue for a 76-year old fisherman who went missing last Thursday, August 06 in Carles, Iloilo.

Ciriaco Patricio reportedly went fishing one nautical mile off Brgy. Punta Carles but failed to return home in Brgy. Barosbos since. 

Upon receipt of information from the victim's daughter, Mary Joy, the personnel of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Estancia immediately coordinated with the village captain of Brgy. Barosbos for the conduct of search and rescue operations. 

Patricio's relatives stated that they have heard from a radio news that a certain Erlinda Arroyo of Calumpang, Masbate found the victim alive. The radio station, however, denied such news report. 

The Coast Guard continuously searches for Patricio and advised all fishing vessels and motor boats transiting the area to be on the look out for the victim.
