A netizen named John Manzano has expressed his sincere thanks to CG ENS MCGRINGO N RECEBIDO, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) officer who exercised honesty by returning money after a mistaken GCASH transfer.

Manzano shared he mistyped the mobile number of the intended recipient during the online money transaction. It turned out, the mobile number belonged to ENS RECEBIDO who immediately replied and returned the money.

“It brings me joy that I had a first-hand encounter with someone who is genuine and takes his duty earnestly. I’m beyond grateful that I have forged a friendship with this good Samaritan,” Manzano said.
