Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, CG Admiral Artemio M Abu, graced the TURNOVER CEREMONY & BLESSING of the COAST GUARD STATION AURORA'S OFFICE VAN AND HELIPAD at Barangay, Mijares, Dipaculao, Aurora, yesterday, 03 May 2023.
CG Admiral Abu said the project's completion is a testament to the PCG's unwavering commitment to providing better and more efficient service to the people of Aurora and the entire country.
"With the addition of this new facility, we are better equipped to respond to emergencies and disasters that may occur in the area. This will not only enhance our operational capabilities but also provide a more comfortable and conducive working environment for our personnel," he added.
Moreover, the Coast Guard Commandant thanked the Coast Guard Aviation Force and the PCG Auxiliary, which played crucial roles in constructing the facility.
"It is through their dedication, hard work, and support that we have achieved this milestone today," CG Admiral Abu concluded.
Also present during the event were the Coast Guard Commandant's spouse, Mrs. Carlota Abu; Dipaculao Mayor Danny Tolentino; and Dipaculao Vice Mayor Franklin Reyes.
Coast Guard senior officers, including Coast Guard Education Training and Doctrine Command (CGETDC) Commander, Rear Admiral Eustacio Nimrod Enriquez Jr; CGETDC Deputy Commander, CG Commodore Roben De Guzman; Coast Guard District Northeastern Luzon Commander, CG Commodore Vincent Bingbong Fiesta; Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Staff for Logistics, CG Commodore Geoffrey Espaldon; Coast Guard Medical Service Commander, CG Commodore Alexis Calderon; and Coast Guard Aviation Force Commander, CG Captain Pauline Diciano; also attended the event.
