The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) participated in the Philippines-Indonesia Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT PHILINDO), represented by BRP Capones (MRRV-4404) together with its counterpart from the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency (BAKAMLA RI) on October 26, 2025.

According to the Coast Guard District Southeastern Mindanao (CGDSEM), this collaborative activity serves as a strong testament to the enduring partnership and friendship between the Philippines and Indonesia.

Both nations continue to work hand in hand to ensure that shared maritime areas remain safe, secure, and sustainable for generations to come, in support of the vision of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

The coordinated patrol was conducted at designated points along the maritime borders of the Philippines and Indonesia. It aims to deter and combat transnational crimes such as illegal fishing, smuggling, human trafficking, and other maritime security threats.
