PCG: COMMO ELSON E HERMOGINO PCG, Commander of Coast Guard District Southern Tagalog (CGDSTL), has recently lauded Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Polilio for rescuing two crew members of a capsized motor boat in Polilio, Quezon.

The operation last January 27 led to the successful rescue of Arong Kalingasan and Joseph Lucela, crew of M/Bca Resalyn.

The incident was reported to CGSS Polilio by a certain Neta Kalingasan who stated that M/Bca Reslyn's outrigger was damaged by big waves and strong winds thereby causing it to capsize. 

Lucela and Kalingasan, both in good physical condition, were safely brought by the SAR team in Barangay Sabang and were later turned-over to the barangay officials for proper disposition.
