PCG. A passenger vessel MV Mary the Queen was dragged from her anchoring position at Mariveles, Bataan yesterday, October 18.
Accordingly, the said vessel was conducting afloat repairs and was anchored since 2012 when suddenly hit by strong winds and big waves and dragged her to Barangay Alas-Asin, Mariveles, Bataan around 8:45 am yesterday.
On the same date at 4:30pm, 2nd mate Candelario Machete informed Coast Guard (CGS) Cavite that they are in Caballo Island and their crew were trying to put the main engines into operation while waiting for the hired Tugboat to assist.
At 7pm, 2nd mate Machete reported to CGS Cavite that they safely anchored at vicinity waters off between Corregidor Island and Naic, Cavite.
