PCG: Three fishermen, two of whom were minors, were successfully rescued by the Philippine Coast Guard last Tuesday from a capsized motorboat in Occidental Mindoro.

The incident was reported to Coast Guard Station (CGS) Occidental Mindoro by SPO2 Rolando Operania of the San Jose Municipal Police Station. Accordingly, an undocumented motorboat capsized at approximately one (1) nautical mile west of Aroma Beach, Barangay San Roque 1, San Jose. 

A SAR operation was immediately conducted by CGS Occidental Mindoro, CGSS San Jose and Special Operations Unit-Southern Tagalog (SOU-STL).

Rommel De Custo, 52, Joemary Magsipoc, 14, and Keven Garciano, 13, were all rescued in good physical condition.
