Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Sea Marshals assisted in the apprehension of a suspect serving the warrant of arrest dated 28 March 2022 wanted for violating Republic Act No. 9262 or Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004 yesterday, 26 April 2022.

After discovering that the suspect was onboard  a vessel that departed from Cebu bound for Cagayan de Oro, CG Seaman First Class Jan Vincent Digma and CG Seaman Second Class Ernie Alorro immediately approached him and transferred him  to a secure location.

Upon arrival at the Port of Cagayan de Oro, the sea marshals turned over the suspect to the PNP Maritime Group - Cagayan de Oro.
