The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Finance Service headed by CG Commodore Joeven L Fabul conducted a two-day Gender Sensitivity Training at the National Headquarters, Port Area, Manila on 07 to 08 March 2022.

Officers and personnel of all Coast Guard Finance Service units nationwide also participated through video teleconferencing platform.

Dr. Marjorie Rola, a certified and accredited international trainer, course developer, and Gender and Development (GAD) advocate, and CG Ensign Rogie Mie Tejo delivered lectures to promote appreciation and understanding of gender issues and equal roles played by women and men in nurturing their families, workplace, and nation as a whole.

During the said activity, the participants enhanced their awareness on GAD and shared their knowledge, reflection, and visions on gender equality.

Minimum public health standards were observed during the activity.
