As part of the Pasig River Rehabilitation Program, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) participated in an interagency coastal clean-up operation that led to the collection of 120 sacks of silt and solid wastes at the vicinity waters off Muelle Dela Industria, Binondo, Manila along Pasig River on 26 March 2022.

The PCG Station Malacañang, Presidential Security Group (PSG), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), San Miguel Corporation (SMC), Pasig River Coordinating and Management Office (PRCMO), and Barangay 275 officials participated in the said marine environmental protection initiative.

The interagency coastal clean-up operation promoted cleaner waterways that will significantly mitigate flooding in areas encompassing the stretch of Pasig River and its neighboring cities.
