Notice is hereby given to all mariners and other parties concerned that:
1. Reference: Letter from Mr. Arnel Quibael, Operations-Port Agency Services, Benline Agencies Philippines, Inc. dated 12 January 2018.
2. NAVIGEA LTD. thru vessel RV PETREL has been tasked to conduct survey of wrecks of the Battle of Surigao Strait and Ormoc bay, Province of Leyte. Said vessel will be exploring the Surigao Strait wreck in a joint venture with the National Museum, Surigao’s Battle of Surigao Strait Council and the City. The said job will start from January 17, 2018 and be completed on February 15, 2018. The limit of the areas is bounded by the following coordinates:
| Point 1 | Latitude 10°25.725’ North, Longitude 125°18.095’ East |
| Point 2 | Latitude 10°26.121’ North, Longitude 125°26.616’ East |
| Point 3 | Latitude 09°58.253’ North, Longitude 125°28.958’ East |
| Point 4 | Latitude 09°56.163’ North, Longitude 125°20.271’ East |
3. In this connection, all ships/watercrafts transiting the vicinity of the above-mentioned areas are advised to take note of the information and take necessary precautionary measures.
