Notice is hereby given to all mariners and other parties concerned that:

1. Reference: NHQPCG/CG-8 Letter of Instruction Nr. 01-2021 (22nd National Maritime Week Celebration and 26th National Seafarers Day)

2. In line with the Presidential Proclamation No. 316 entitled Declaring Every Month of September as the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation and Awareness Month (MANA Mo), and the Presidential Proclamation No. 1049 s. 1997, Declaring the Last Sunday of September of Every Year as National Seafarers’ Day). The Philippines will be celebrating the 22nd National Maritime Week (NMW) on 20-26 September 2021 with the theme “Seafarers: At the Core of Shipping’s Future” and the National Seafarers Day (NSD) on 26 September 2021.

3. One of the activities to be conducted is the Blowing of Horns/Sirens of all vessels at their respective locations at exactly 0800H on 20 September 2021 (1 whole blast for 2 minutes). 

4. In this connection, request all ships/watercrafts to participate to the said activity in celebrating the 22nd National Maritime Week Celebration and 26th National Seafarers Day.

5. The cooperation of all concerned in effecting widest dissemination of this information is highly requested.
