The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) conducted a coastal clean-up 2025 at Manila Dolomite Beach on August 08, 2025.
The said activity aims to support President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr.’s vision of maintaining and protecting our coastal areas.
Headed by Commander, Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command (CGETDC), Rear Admiral Tito Alvin Andal PCG, the Office of the Command Master Chief, together with the PCG (E-1 to E-6) Chevron’s Association Inc. and the Coast Guard Non-Officers’ Advance Course Classes 11 and 12-2025, combed the coastline of Dolomite Beach, collecting plastics, debris, and other litter to help maintain the area’s cleanliness.
As part of the CGETDC's pre-anniversary activities, the initiative reflected the CGETDC’s commitment in supporting the PCG’s mandate in protecting and preserving the marine environment. Through such initiatives, the Command continues to raise environmental awareness and foster a sense of responsibility among its personnel in safeguarding the nation’s coastal and marine resources.
