Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, CG Admiral Leopoldo V Laroya has graced the recognition rites of Coast Guard Non-Officer’s Course (CGNOC) Class 88 – 2021 “ALAB MANKALIS”, composed of 202 male trainees, at the Regional Training Center La Union located in Poro Point, San Fernando, La Union today, 28 January 2022.
CG Admiral Laroya congratulated the trainees and challenged them to give their best in pursuit of their dreams, focus on their academics, and continue pushing themselves toward excellence.
"The PCG we envision is an organization manned by highly motivated, professionally competent, morally upright, and reliable men and women who will help our country become a competitive maritime nation. We are all expected to selflessly commit ourselves to our respective duties and responsibilities," CG Admiral Laroya furthered.
PCG Deputy Commandant for Operations, CG Vice Admiral Eduardo D Fabricante and PCG District Northwestern Luzon Commander, CG Commodore Inocencio C Rosario Jr also attended the ceremony.
Health and safety protocols were observed during the recognition rites.
