The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is one with the nation as we commemorate the heroism and courage of our ancestors and allies who fought for national freedom during World War II.
May this historic day remind us to love and serve the country with patriotism, compassion, and fear of God, more so as we are continue to fight for public health and economic recovery amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Let us continue to honor our noble fallen and survivors of such fateful adversary for their efforts and sacrifices yielded the freedom we are enjoying today.
Let us learn from them, especially on how they overcame challenges, and continue to live victoriously with the help and guidance of our Almighty Father.
As we look back on the lessons of the past, let us remain united in winning against the unseen enemy that is stealing the lives of mankind.
We can achieve such by supporting the national government and by lifting prayers for strength and protection, not only for our families and loved ones, but more importantly, for our medical professionals, fellow public servants, and modern-day heroes.
May we all have a solemn and meaningful observance of the Day of Valor.
