The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) received a letter of commendation from Congressman Munir Arbison of the Second District of Sulu after the successful conduct of missions in the province this week.      

Specifically, the good Congressman expressed his sincere gratitude for all the support and assistance that the PCG, especially Commandant, Admiral George V Ursabia Jr, extended to the Second District of Sulu.

“You have shown deep courage and confidence to do something bigger for the people of Sulu, not only through maritime law enforcement, but also through compassionate service,” Congressman Arbison said.

“Your determination, hard work, and empathy are truly admirable. Thank you for being a significant instrument towards a more peaceful and progressive Second District of Sulu. May you never cease to bring positive changes to our country," he furthered.

For his part, Admiral Ursabia continues to lift all praises and honor to the Almightly God who guides the men and women of the Coast Guard in serving with humility and compassion, anchored on the ideals of genuine PCG: Patriotism, Compassion, and fear of God.

"Walang magaling sa Coast Guard. Kung nakikita ninyo na nagtatagumpay tayo sa pagseserbisyo, it's because God is using us as His instruments to serve others. Apart from Him, we can do nothing, " Admiral Ursabia said.
