The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) conducted the graduation ceremony of the Coast Guard Non-Officers' Course (CGNOC) Class 83 - 2020 “HINIRANG”, composed of 226 trainees, after successfully finishing their rigid training and academic sessions at the PCG Regional Training Center Zamboanga on 16 July 2021.

Gracing the ceremony was PCG Commandant, Admiral George V Ursabia Jr who congratulated the graduates and urged them to become role models to the young generation, especially those who envision to join the humanitarian armed service in the future.

"Be role models and inspire them. Do not waste this opportunity. Be good and excellent Coast Guardians and above all, be genuine PCG: patriotic, compassionate, and God-fearing," Admiral Ursabia said.

The PCG Commandant also reminded the graduates that they are now part of the Coast Guard service, not for the sake of personal gain through salary, but for the sake of the Motherland through valuable public service.

Commodore Eustacio Nimrod Enriquez Jr, Commander of the Coast Guard Education, Training, and Doctrine Command; Commodore Edgar Boado, Commander of the Coast Guard District South Western Mindanao; and Auxiliary Commodore Raul Regondola, Chairman and Administrator of the Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone (ZAMBOECOZONE) also graced the graduation ceremony.

Health assessments and safety protocols were strictly implemented during the activity.
