Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, CG Vice Admiral Leopoldo V Laroya led the inauguration of the Coast Guard Human Resource Management Command (CGHRMC) – Satellite Training Institute located at the Coast Guard Base Taguig on 28 September 2021.
The institute is envisioned to become a CENTER OF EXCELLENCE in producing skilled and well-equipped CGHRMC personnel who are effective and efficient in meeting the current and future administrative demands of the PCG.
The groundbreaking for the said infrastructure project occurred on 07 July 2021.
During the ceremony, CG Vice Admiral Laroya recognized the efforts of CG Lieutenant Commander Emmanuel A Soria who was the ‘brainchild’ behind the project, and District Representative Munir N Arbison of the Second District of Sulu as the benefactor.
He also expressed his appreciation to the men and women of CGHRMC who continue to work hard for the transformation of the PCG as the third armed service of the Philippines.
“The CGHRMC has helped raise the morale of our active and retired personnel. Indeed, CGHRMC officers and personnel are truly nurturers who sustain the welfare of our organization,” the Coast Guard Commandant said.
The ceremony occurred during the celebration of the 4th founding anniversary of CGHRMC.
Also gracing the event were CGHRMC Commander, CG Commodore Juan Manuel DF Ramos Jr, CGHRMC Deputy Commander, CG Captain Ramon S Lopez, Engineer Az Zamier N Arbison of the DPWH Second District - Sulu, and Engineer Ash Shahid N Arbison.
