The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has rescued 12 passengers, including one minor, of a distressed speedboat at the vicinity waters off Camara Island, San Antonio, Zambales yesterday, 24 October 2021.

According to the rescued individuals, their watercraft accidentally hit a rock formation when they encountered big waves. 

The said incident pierced the hull of the speedboat.

They were safely brought to Barangay Pundaquit, San Antonio, Zambales where they were properly turned over to their families.
