The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has convened 300 trainees under the Coast Guard Non-Officer's Course Class 89 - 2021 presided over by Coast Guard Education, Training, and Doctrine Command (CGETDC) Commander, CG Commodore Eustacio Nimrod P Enriquez at the Coast Guard Base Taguig City today, 30 October 2021.

The said trainees will undergo six months of rigorous training to transform them into disciplined Coast Guardians through military drills, basic soldiery, as well as lectures on PCG customs and traditions.

They underwent medical evaluation and health assessment to ensure that they are physically fit to undertake the challenges at the training center.
