The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is set to establish the PCG Sub-Station Pakil in Barangay Burgos after the successful ceremonial signing of the memorandum of agreement ( MOA ) between the PCG and local government unit (LGU) of Pakil, Laguna yesterday, 11 November 2021.

PCG District NCR – Central Luzon Commander, CG Commodore Hostillo Arturo E Cornelio and Pakil Mayor Vincent L. Soriano led the MOA signing for the PCG’s utilization of a 35-square-meter lot in the municipality.

Once operational, the PCG Sub-Station Pakil will intensify Coast Guard’s presence in nearby coastal communities and vicinity waters to further uphold maritime law enforcement, maritime security, maritime safety, maritime search and rescue, and marine environmental protection.
