The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has received 4,000 shots of flu vaccine from the Zuellig Pharma today, 09 December 2021.

PCG Deputy Commandant for Operations, CG Vice Admiral Eduardo D Fabricante, and Coast Guard Public Affairs Commander, CG Commodore Armando A Balilo personally received the said donation at the National Headquarters, Port Area, Manila.

Afterward, CG Commander Ma. Corazon M Aguilar of the Coast Guard Medical Service commenced the vaccination to the uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of the service.

As of 01:00 p.m. today, a total of 225 personnel at the National Headquarters received the said vaccine. Other Commands, units, and offices of the PCG within the NCR – Cavite area will also receive several boxes of flu vaccines.

The PCG expressed its gratitude to Zuellig Pharma for their generous donation to uphold the health and safety of PCG frontline personnel, especially amid the ongoing pandemic.
