The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) District Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has reached Dinagat Islands!

The embarkation of supplies occurred in Surigao City.

Onboard BRP Cape San Agustin (MRRV-4408) skippered by CG Captain Jaybom J Calica, the PCG District BARMM safely unloaded 4,857 boxes of relief goods, 168 gallons of mineral water, 124 sacks of 50-kilogram rice, and three containers on the island yesterday, 23 December 2021.

This operation followed the relief transport mission conducted by the men and women of the BRP Gabriela Silang (OPV-8301) on 22 December 2021.

The Emergency Operations Center in Dinagat Islands received the said supplies for immediate distribution to typhoon-stricken families.
