The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) expresses its heartfelt appreciation to International Organization for Migration (IOM) Philippines for their never-ending support on the efforts of the service in protecting public health and safety of Filipino people amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
The generous organization, as represented by the IOM Chief Migration Health Officer, Dr. Predrag Bajcevic and IOM National Project Officer, Ms. Ilova Dorylane Lorenzo, have donated TWO BRAND NEW HI-ACE TOYOTA GRANDIA VANS to the PCG.
The donations were formally received by PCG Commandant, CG Admiral Leopoldo V Laroya, together with PCG Task Force Bayanihan Returning Overseas Filipinos (PCG TF-BROF) Commander, CG Rear Admiral Rolando Lizor N Punzalan Jr.
It will be utilized on the transport of overall logistical requirements and undertake other crucial activities amidst the global pandemic.
Moreover, IOM Philippines also turned over 20 LAPEL MICROPHONES WITH PORTABLE AMPLIFIERS to the PCG to augment the resources of the Task Force.
