Officers and personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard Public Affairs (CGPA) underwent weapons familiarization and marksmanship training at the 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Capinpin in Tanay, Rizal on 02 April 2022.

Members of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) Communications Office also joined the initiative.

Through discussions and actual exercises on marksmanship, the participants from the PCG and DOTr, as well as instructors from the Philippine Army (PA) were able to strengthen camaraderie and improve interoperability.

Moreover, CGPA Commander and DOTr Communications Office Consultant, CG Commodore Armando Balilo paid a courtesy call to the Commander of the 2nd Infantry (Jungle Fighters) Division, Major General Rowen Tolentino PA.

During the meeting, they discussed the enhancement of collaboration between the PCG, DOTr, and PA through sharing of facilities and equipment to accelerate the delivery of public service.
