Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, CG Admiral Artemio M Abu has graced the recognition rites of the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA) βKadaligtanβ Class of 2025, composed of 364 midshipmen, at the PMMA Complex in San Narciso, Zambales yesterday, 13 April 2022.
CG Admiral Abu congratulated the midshipmen and challenged them to give their best in pursuit of their dreams. He also urged them to focus on their academics and continue pushing themselves toward excellence.
"Recognized as the top rated maritime institution, our country greatly advances in the maritime world as the PMMA continuously produce exceptional marine officers with an assured level of international competence," CG Admiral Abu said.
PMMA Superintendent Commodore Joel Abutal; Assistant Superintendent for Academics, Training, Research and Extension, Captain Reynold Sabay; and Assistant Superintendent for Administration and Finance, Engr. Ronnie Basco also attended the ceremony.
