The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Station Ilocos Norte conducted a medical evacuation for an ailing foreign crew of MV GLORY EXPLORER in the vicinity waters off Currimao, Ilocos Norte at around 07:30 a.m. today, 09 July 2022.

According to the crew, 24-year-old Yang Cong, Chinese national, complained about experiencing difficulty in breathing.

The PCG, Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), and a local agent of the said foreign vessel proceeded to the vicinity waters to evacuate the patient.

The medical evacuation team brought the ailing crew to the Black Nazarene Hospital in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, for medical assistance.
