The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Sub-Station Tanza responded to a maritime incident involving half-submerged M/bca "Mommy Yolls" with two fishermen onboard at the vicinity waters off Labac, Naic, Cavite, yesterday, 21 September 2022.

The rescued individuals were identified as 52-year-old George Gapate and 18-year-old Rodolfo Tulibas, residents of Barangay 49M, Bagong Pook, Cavite City.

They encountered big waves while transiting the vicinity waters off Labac, which damaged their motorbanca's hull.

The search and rescue (SAR) team confirmed that the rescued fishermen were in good physical condition.
