The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Station Malacañang organized a clean-up drive in the vicinity waters of Estero De Sunog Apog, Barangay 135, Balut, Tondo, Manila, on 01 October 2022.

Together with the Pasig River Coordinating and Management Office (PRCMO) and other government agencies, the PCG collected approximately 1,500 sacks of solid waste during the said marine environmental protection initiative.

The PCG and PRCMO are working together to maintain the cleanliness of the Pasig River, advocate environmental awareness among residents, and alleviate flooding in the area.
