The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) responds to a reported incident involving the recovery of a metallic debris in the vicinity waters off Calintaan, Occidental Mindoro on 06 November 2022.

On 07 November 2022, Mr. Roderick Fabie, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Calintaan, reported that a group of local fishermen found and pulled a metallic debris towards the seashore at around 11AM on 06 November 2022.

The PCG and PNP proceeded to the said location to verify the report.

Upon arrival, the PCG and PNP confirmed the presence of the white painted, curve shaped, and more or less six-meter-long metallic debris.

As of press time, the identification of the said debris is still unknown. It remains at the mentioned site for inspection.
